Many people come to see the New Year's tree on the square and, of course, to take photos near it. The city authorities have taken the organization of the New Year's celebration very seriously. A New Year's fair has been organized not far from the square. By the way, New Year's trees have also been set up in other squares of Dushanbe. In this photo review of New Year's Dushanbe, below I have also posted photos of the square near the Opera Theater, where a New Year's tree has also been installed. But, let's take things in order.
In addition to the New Year's trees, there are Christmas tree markets all over the city, selling mostly artificial trees, which is, generally speaking, the right thing to do – we need to protect nature.
Here are the festively decorated trees and the alley along the avenue near Rudaki Park (formerly Lenin Park).
Behind the illuminated arch, all the way to Ismoili Somoni Square, are the pavilions of the New Year's fair.
This is what the New Year's fair looks like during daylight hours.
Passing through the New Year's fair, we come out onto Ismoili Somoni Square to the country's main New Year's tree.
The New Year's tree is multi-colored, meaning it constantly changes color. Photos of the New Year's tree from different spots on the square.

By the way, this year the New Year's tree was installed in a new location; previously, it was set up right here...
Now there is no tree here, but various New Year's decorations, and there are also small fir trees.
Next, from the square, I walked along Rudaki Avenue towards the Opera House. There are also new decorations on the boulevard, these colorful glowing arches.

After crossing Rudaki Avenue and Bukhoro Street, other arches are installed, which constantly change color. Here are photos of a few color variations.
In this photo, through the last arch, you can already see the New Year's tree installed on the square in front of the Opera and Ballet Theater, that is, near the Opera House.

There are also other decorations glowing with different New Year's lights here.
Of course, everything won't fit within the confines of a blog, and to be honest, many photos simply didn't turn out well – it was night, after all. But it seems to me that you can still imagine how beautiful it is right now in the pre-holiday city of Dushanbe.
Happy upcoming New Year! All the best to You!
